Can We Talk?

In an effort to clear my Tivo queue, I watched a bunch of shows yesterday and was floored to hear Joan Rivers refer to Jennifer Lopez as the “modern day Jackie Kennedy”. While it wouldn’t be too far fetched to call me “out of touch”, I feel I must speak up on Jackie’s behalf. I am sure Jenny from the Block is a very nice person, but she ain’t no Jackie Kennedy. Somehow I am having difficulty picturing Jackie in the nude catsuit. Again, I mean no disrespect to Jennifer. But (borrowing from Lloyd Bentsen) I served with Jackie Kennedy; I knew Jackie Kennedy; Jackie Kennedy was a friend of mine. And you, Ms. Lopez, are no Jackie Kennedy.
Do y’all agree with me? Or am I missing something?
