Joran van der Sloot = JACKASS

I don’t usually like to criticize people (anymore), but I feel pretty comfortable in my position on this one. Joran van der Sloot is a jackass. In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last several years, there was a girl named Natalie Holloway who disappeared while on a high school graduation trip to Aruba. Her body has never been found. Her parents have no idea what happened to her, or if she’s alive somewhere. Mr. van der Sloot has been the prime suspect for foul play since the beginning of the criminal investigation. He is an arrogant young guy who seems unconcerned that he was the last person seen with this girl. He has changed his story and been generally less than helpful since the ordeal began. Today he’s in the news again because he has apparently confessed to a TV station that he dumped her body in a swamp. When the TV station investigated, they did not find his story to be credible. Now, I ask you: why would he do this? Because he’s a jackass. Why put her parents through one more glimmer of hope to find the truth? Because he’s a jackass. Why talk to the TV station at all? Jackass, jackass, jackass. I don’t care if this girl Natalie was drunk or high or what. She didn’t deserve this and neither do her parents. I hope Mr. van der Sloot doesn’t set foot in the state of Alabama (her home state) because we have some redneck boys who would pop a top on a can of whoop-ass and make sure his body would never be located, either.
